So many things has been said about Haile’s behavior before and after independence but we were naïve then to think that all the rumors we heard such as him been womanizer alcoholic etc were not true. Back then we assumed Haile as deity and patriot Eritrean but little did we know he was also clandestine egocentric, power-hungry and opportunist individual waiting for the right time to come. Now the true character of Haile is shimmering every day and every second. He appears to be suffering from identity crisis, for fact, if a sixty years old man dyes his hair obviously there is something wrong with his doctrine, and seeing Haile dye his hair to look younger reveals how much he hate his looks and himself, and evidently, we should not expect someone who hate his own looks would like his country and/or people. Because of selfishness he lost everything, when I say everything the family he built in Sahil and later lost in New York.

Like Kofi Anan Haile is just another “yes men” in the United Nations, even much worst he is out there to put up for sale the country he fought to be independent to the highest offer. And what scares me the most, he will be very much closer than he use to be to the country he betrayed, which everybody needs to watch out his planned plot to destabilize, not only his prime target Eritrea but the entire East Africa region with a potential resources that the west put their eyes on .

In the speech he gave he was seen barking, downing and attacking Eritrea . The video was recorded a month ago and I do not think he knew it would be available to the public. But for the Eritrean people in Diaspora it came in the right time and indeed it was icing on the cake into something we suspected that he is been doing right from the start. Even though Haile wishes to remain covert the video left him naked unwillingly in the eyes of the Eritrean public. Listening Haile blaming his country for helping the Alshebab, fighting proxy war with Ethiopia, invading Djibouti etc without tangible evidence was stunning to millions of Eritreans. Looking back I cannot even visualize anymore if he was a freedom fighter other than a paid agent. What’s more, he kept saying we..we many times (counting himself as non Eritrean), which he retreated later and tried to spell out his reason because he grew up outside Eritrea .Haile is losing not only his identity but also counting his age. Haile doesn’t seem to know how old he is beside his gray hair telling him it cannot grow dark and needed darker color. In his 60 plus years of his life he spent more than half it in the soil of Eritrean, probably spying for the west. We should not blame only US or Uganda for the sanction when our own man is the co-architect of the suctions too. .
