National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW), UK Chapter, held a drugs awareness seminar

National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW), UK Chapter, organized drugs awareness seminar for families and youth to provide a broad knowledge and understanding of the issues relating to drugs and substance misuse. The extensive seminar was given by an expert in the field.

The main seminar went on for over two hours, parents and young people were also given opportunity for discussion and ask questions on drug matters and related issues.  YoungPFDJ and youth association also gave a brief presentation on the occasion. The seminar was concluded with closing speech by the Chairwoman of National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW), UK, Juma Mohammed Omer. Among other things she pointed out projects in the pipeline and the need for closer and coordinated working relations with the youth association, YPFDJ and other relevant associations and organizations.
