NEW YEAR CELEBRATION TO BE HELD ON 20TH DECEMBER 2008

Dear parents

The children's committee in the UK would like to invite all families and their children to a New Year's party on 20-12-2008 .

We will be welcoming 2009 with a difference so please don't miss out on this opportunity and a special occasion.

As New Year is a time to reflect and make resolutions, we will be encouraging our children to dress in character costumes of their choice. The idea behind the costumes is to help step into a character as a way of making a resolution i.e. a child might want to become a doctor, a lawyer, a nurse etc in the future. These costumes will not only add fun and vibrancy but also encourage the child to look forward to the day when he/she will finally become whatever profession he/she desires.

We would therefore ask that you discuss with your children about what their ambitions for the future are and based on their reply, that you purchase these costumes for them. Character costumes can be found in many party shops in your local area or via the internet but should you need any assistance with this regard, please do not hesitate to contact me for more information on 07946289403.

We will also be having entertainments for the children by the children such as talent shows, quizzes, dance and music etc.

Time: 4pm to 7pm promptly.

This special event will start on time as we can only use this building until 7:00 pm .

We urge you all to bring your children on time in order for them not to miss out on all the fun.
